I am a neuroscientist with a PhD in Psychological Medicine and a Masters in Brain and Mind Sciences from the Brain and Mind Centre at The University of Sydney. My PhD conceived and delivered a clinical trial of trauma-sensitive yoga for burnout and traumatic stress in junior doctors. All views expressed here are my own.
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Anaesthetics, Faculty of Medicine & Health at The University of Sydney and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) in the Sydney Local Health District. While this impacts my availability for private practice, I am currently working on an exciting study of consciousness, postoperative delirium and cognition with Professor Robert D Sanders.
I have worked with the Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and established the yoga program in the BPTOK and MDOK programs for junior doctors at RPAH. I have published in the Australia New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry, Journal of Trauma & Dissociation, and BMJ Postgraduate Medical Journal.

I am also a wife, daughter, step-mother, fur- and feather-parent, and a senior yoga teacher and practitioner of twenty-five years.
